The CSL in Reno has a beautiful building! Upon entering, you are greeted by very happy and joyous people. They also stream the services live on the web, which is a great way to become familiar with their approach. A fun aspect of the Church is that their mascot, a Black Lab, occasionally walks around and greets people. The service we visited was titled “The Gift of Joy,” it clearly touched many in attendance. Backed up with a band and vocalists, needless to say, the music was amazing. We will happily attend again!
Center for Spiritual Living, Reno is more than a church, it is a community and I belong. It’s pure love.
Center for Spiritual Living, Reno is a place of wisdom and love.
From the moment I walked into the sanctuary, I got great positive vibes. I had no doubt I was in the right place at the right time. Then I heard Dr. Liesa’s insightful and substantive message. For the first time in a very long time, I was able to walk away from a sermon with something meaningful and useful in the every-day-sense.
I enjoy the many tools that I have received that work for daily living, that work for my life.
I love EVERYTHING about Center for Spiritual Living, Reno–learning, classes, music and the message. It all makes me feel good!
I really appreciate the community of loving, supportive people who want for you what you want. Somehow, you make everyone feel welcome!
We went to this CSL during a weekend getaway to Reno in early January. The congregation was friendly, open, and fun-loving. The music was what I miss so much in Boise after having attended CSLs in New York and Seattle. To put it plainly, the band ROCKS. If you’re like me and a big part of your church-going experience has to do with the feeling your spirit gets when it’s moved by talented voices and excellent musicians, then pay CSL a visit.
Some might call CSL “religion light” but I like to think of it as a positive message without fear, judgment or guilt. There was even a black lab wandering the aisles! They recycle the paper covers for their service announcements and I was impressed by the number of classes and groups they ran. We really enjoyed the music, the space, the people, the overall message and the sermon given by Rev. Garcia. For us, it was a great way to kick off the new year while still on vacation.
The high point for me at Center for Spiritual Living, Reno is the inspirational Sunday message. It is always consistent in principle and truth!
